A global automotive parts manufacturing company located in the northwest suburbs Chicago area is looking for a Marketing Specialist to support their operation. An ideal candidate has previous experience with the automotive industry. This position is direct hire and full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities Include:

· Develop detailed understanding of company product lines, technical/application capabilities, and marketplace

· Evaluate market pricing of new and existing products

· Partner with sales team, and communicate with distributors and end users to obtain market information

· Analyze market trends in the industry and present the management for deeper understanding of the market

· Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or Engineering related to manufacturing or equivalent experience

· Can travel (approximately up to 20%)

· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Manufacturing industry experience

· Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations

· Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating, and maintenance documents

· Able to communicate fluently in both written and verbal English

· While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to type for extended periods throughout the day and intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision, as well as, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
