Caseyville Nursing & Rehab Center, a skilled nursing community, who strives to provide clinical excellence and compassionate care to our residents. Our community is in need of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to fill full time day shifts and full-time evening shifts, full- time night shifts.

Candidates should desire to be a part of a quality health care team with emphasis on supporting the mission and vision of our facility in its efforts to support our residents, family members, co-worker’s general public.

Responsibilities of a Licensed Practical Nurse include:

· Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment

· Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals

· Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient

· Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed

· Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients

· Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members

· Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment

Requirements of a Licensed Practical Nurse include:

· Nursing experience, preferably clinical experience in long term care

· Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Illinois

· Willingness to work

· Excellent bedside manner and communication skills

· Ability to explain treatments and conditions

· Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations

· Well-groomed and neat presenting
