The National Training Lead serves as a departmental subject matter expert to provide training and mentoring resources for Revenue Operations staff and leadership enterprise wide, and support Manager, Training as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a liaison between Training Manager and team
  • Design, develop, evaluate, and update training documentation, manuals, and job aides
  • Facilitate train the trainer sessions for the Revenue Cycle enterprise
  • Assist with review of Revenue Operations Trainer’s performance
  • Assure training programs are maintained current by incorporating new information received from CBO, Patient Access, and corporate leadership
  • Organize and drive project initiatives that assists with systems and process improvements
  • Analyze training needs by collaborating with Quality Assurance leadership
  • Coordinate training schedules and agendas
  • Responsible for timely development of training metrics for training needs based on gap analysis
  • Comply with and adhere to all regulatory compliance areas, policies and procedures, and leading practices
  • Complete and/or attend mandatory training and education sessions within approved organizational guidelines and timeframes
  • Escalate issues, concerns, and/or other items to leadership as appropriate
  • Maintain HIPAA and PCI compliance requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Ability to interact with management enterprise wide
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Ability to lead and coach training staff
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while balancing deadlines

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE/TECHNICAL/OTHER:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent related work experience.
  • Experience (Type & Length): 2-3 years’ experience with patient registration, medical billing/collection; hospital blling experience preferred 5+ years relevant work experience.
  • Certification/Licensure: N/A
  • Software/Hardware: Microsoft Office suite; experienced with patient accounting systems and billing/claims software; Meditech experience required.
