Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our team in Irving, TX. As an Treasury Analyst you will report to the Sr. Treasury Manager and is responsible for banking administration needs, project management, fees management, and support the day-to-day operation of Treasury tasks for the company. This position will work closely with internal and external parties to deliver accurate and timely information and service.

What You'll Get To Do
- Initiate payments and funds transfers for Treasury related items.
- Assist with administration of bank accounts.
- Support ACH Positive Pay for all bank accounts.
- First point of contact for general Treasury related requests from internal and external customers.
- Identify, monitor and analyze all banking and merchant services fees. Create and maintain reports to track fees and recognize areas of improvement.
- Support the North American cash position and forecasting process.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Point of contact for multiple department projects. Will assist with project initiatives with banks and internal partners with ability to move the project forward. Will communicate and document key risks and alternatives. Time management and deadline awareness are essential.
- Support the Treasury Manager and Director as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-years’ experience in Treasury, Finance or Business Administration with a good understanding of cash management principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking industry preferred.
- Proven project management and documentation skills.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet changing deadlines and complete month-end close activities, as well as work during non-banking holidays if necessary.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills in a deadline driven field.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities, as well as internal and external customer service skills.
- Well-rounded computer skills with strong MS Office knowledge and expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
