Transportation SupervisorThe Transportation Supervisor is responsible to assist the Transportation Safety Manager in the oversight and maintenance of the HCS Head Start bus routes, supervision of transportation staff, drivers and monitors orientation and training, staff observations and evaluations, and maintenance of Agency fleet. This role will work closely with the Transportation and Safety Manager to ensure safe, effective, efficient and responsive service delivery to children, parents and staff of the HCS Head Start Program.
Education Requirements
- Minimum Associates Degree in Business Management with two (2) years experience in related field preferred or 3 years experience in oversight of transportation services to young children
- Commercial Drivers License with School Bus Endorsement S and Passenger Endorsement P
- School Bus Drivers Certificate
- School Bus Driver Instructor Certificate
- Driving record free of any moving violations within the last five years
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication Skills
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- CDL Class B license with School Bus Passenger and Safety endorsement,
- Current MASSDOT Medical Card,
- Current School Bus Certificate, and
- Current RMV Driving Record.
- No Air Brake endorsement needed.
- Strong written and verbal skills required.
- Driving record free of any moving violations within the last five years.
- Vaccination against COVID-19 is required
