There are day and night shifts available (12 hr Shifts)
Responsibilities of a Thermoforming Machine Operator
- Operate thermoforming equipment safely and effectively to generate a superior product
- Troubleshoot line problems with minimal help
- Keep run efficiency for the line and product type at a minimum.
- Ensure product quality online and complete all relevant documents related to line production in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with plant start-ups and shut-downs
- Instruct future technicians in both technical and safe working procedures.
- Communicates with shift management on a daily basis to identify problem areas and develop action plans.
- Adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
- Obeys all safety norms and rules
- Ensures that housekeeping in areas where he or she is responsible is safe and according to company requirements.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in the plastics business
- Extrusion experience with plastics is required, and thermoforming is desired.
- Mechanical proficiency must be demonstrated.
- It is necessary to be able to operate individually as well as effectively collaborate with others as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work off-shifts and overtime as needed
You should be proficient in:
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
- Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans

Salary info:
$18 - $33 / hr
