Strategic Operations Associate, Airport Partner Job at Uber
About the role
Travel is in many ways the heart and soul of Uber. Trips to and from the airport account for around ~10% of Uber trips across the US and Canada and ~20% of gross bookings, and the overall percentage of ground transportation at airports fulfilled by Uber remains quite small. Airport trips are many riders' first use case, and these trips have higher average fares and a higher mix towards more profitable products. At Uber, we recognize an opportunity to help positively shape the travel experience for riders around the world. The Uber Airport Ops team is obsessed with driving excellent airport experiences for our customers and works to be true driver to airports.
Uber is seeking a Airport Partner Management Associate focusing on improving core experience for riders and drivers. In this role, you will assist in driving management, improvement and ongoing optimization of experiences at airports for drivers and riders. You will foster airport product configuration and management, and will manage the implementation of new products and features. You will work on our gnarliest airports marketplace challenges, digging deep into root causes and making recommendations to create a strong airports business. You’ll also build quality processes, develop standard operating procedures, enhance current configuration, provide on-the-ground walkthroughs, traffic management suggestions, and experiment with current products and configurations to optimize airports in our portfolio.
What you’ll do

- Creative thinking and problem solving. Deep dive into our biggest marketplace and core experience challenges and navigate high touch, top tier airport issues through critical thinking and ideation.
- Be a guide on airports tech and partner with product teams to see opportunities to improve how we run our business through product features.

- Bring your analytical A-game. You'll build business models to better understand trends, provide useful insights, and track productivity of initiatives to ensure we're driving toward the best possible outcome at airports.
