Global Security Group is actively seeking experienced Security Officers for health facility located in Joliet, Illinois. Position Overview

GSG Security Officers are expected to observe and report through advanced mobile record and reporting systems. This is a highly sought after position requiring officers to be punctual, reliable and maintain professionalism at all times.

Requirements

Licenses and Certifications

  • PERC
  • Driver’s License
  • MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED FOR COVID-19

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 1 Year experience as Security Guard.
  • Educational background related to Law Enforcement is an asset

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an emphasis on multi-tasking and rapidly assessing and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor under very stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

Working Conditions

  • Required to work rotating shifts to include statutory holidays and be available for work in a 24x7x365 environment.
  • Required to work with mobile reporting and other systems.

Major Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and reporting all on site activity.
  • Ensuring that security operations occur consistent with policy and Post Orders.
  • Maintain radio communications.
  • Initiate communications with Tenants, Building Personnel and Property Management at the onset of emergencies, major incidents, or the disruption of building operations.
  • Prepares written documentation and provides reports on technical problems, incidents, front-line investigative issues, and other security-related matters.
  • Manages information flow via mobile reports.
  • Notifies emergency services when required.
  • Reporting building safety hazards and deficiencies, and other work requests as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
