Seasonal Grounds Crew Member - Kidron Bethel Village - PT Job at Bluestem Communities Management Inc
Position Overview:
The Seasonal Grounds Crew Member is responsible for grounds maintenance work on the Schowalter Villa campus during the spring and summer months.
Essential Job Functions:
- Planting, trimming, mowing, edging, irrigation, fertilization, pest control and detail work associated with all landscape elements; grass, trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials, etc.
- Landscape installations, maintenance and improvement projects
- Irrigation maintenance and scheduling drip irrigation installation
- Equipment operation and maintenance on all types of ride-on or small engine tools
- Perform hour tracking and inventory management with designated system assigned by supervisor
- Assisting maintenance techs with other duties, such as power washing exteriors, and moving furniture.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must be at least sixteen [16] years of age
Those under 18 years old will not engage in any activities defined as hazardous by the Secretary of Labor
Physical Requirements:
Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
