- You will be the eyes of the customer and a vocal proponent of quality across the various phases of software development
- You will own major features and will work closely with different disciplines across the organization from planning to release
- Create comprehensive test strategies that include a mix of testing methodologies like regression, performance, exploratory, cross browser, responsive, and black box testing
- Identify creative ways to break the product
- Find, isolate, document, triage, regress, and track bugs through resolution
- Analyze responses and errors in browser development tools, to ensure we deliver software that meets our quality standards
- Work as a member of an Agile Scrum team, providing accurate estimates and delivering quality software in two-week sprints
- Participate in our Agile processes — from updating tickets to reflecting meaningfully in retrospectives and everything in between
- You are advanced in your quality assurance career with diverse QA/QE experience
- You are a strong manual QA with experience in automated testing (we use Cypress)
- You write clear, concise, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases for validating product functionality
- You can successfully execute testing efforts, from project inception to post-launch
- You take pride in great attention to detail and can identify, isolate, and document issues
- You recognize and anticipate problems and have a keen ability to manage risk
- You are relentlessly curious, willing to explore all aspects of the product to identify gaps and opportunities to meet customer needs
- You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and effectively
- You're hard working and enjoy working independently towards a shared goal
- You are passionate about meeting high quality standards and bring a strong voice around quality to encourage product improvements
- You have strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects, with a high standard of quality
- You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can adapt testing efforts to meet project needs and deadlines
- You have a great understanding of APIs and experience testing them using tools like Postman, Swagger
- You have experience with continuous delivery practices with tools like CircleCI (branch management, version control, pull requests, code reviews, running tests in CI/CD, clean code).

- Competitive Compensation. For this role our base salary is targeted at $104,000 -$125,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise. We take a geo neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.

The interview overview
Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for our Quality Assurance Engineer position. Please note that this is what we expect the process to look like; we may ask you for supplemental information or require an additional step before making a final decision.
- 30 min interview with a member of our Talent Team
- 30 minute zoom interview with the Hiring Manager
- A take-home assignment where you will create a bug report, write a test plan, and implement automation for a simple test app
- Three video interviews with several team members (Engineering Manager, Frontend Engineer, QA Engineer) - 3 hours
