Position Summary:
This position is part of the NBA Social & Digital Content team which focuses on identifying, creating, distributing and publishing content to the NBA's social and digital platforms and its many domestic and international partners throughout the world. As the demand for content on the NBA's social platforms continues to grow, this is your opportunity to grow with us in a fast-paced, innovative and collaborative environment, reaching social followers around the world. This is a project employee position based out of the Secaucus, New Jersey office. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, knows the latest trends and understands how brands are activating paid partnership posts across social. They have excellent organization and communications skills and can manage multiple projects to meet deadlines. Lastly, this candidate has their finger on the pulse of the NBA and spends their free time immersing themselves in podcasts, message boards or consuming short and long form content about the NBA.
Major Responsibilities:
- Work with directly with the Social & Digital Branded Content Lead to manage all partner posts on NBA social and digital platforms
- Work with the NBA’s partnerships team to track branded content post requirements for NBA social
- Work with video editors to coordinate timeline of video production and delivery of branded content
- Work with content design team to coordinate timeline of graphics production and delivery of branded content
- Work with internal team to manage a schedule of branded content posts and manage the delivery of the schedule to NBA social publishers
- Work with NBA social team to confirm branded content posts are published across social
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Deeply knowledgeable and passionate about the NBA and its players, coaches, and teams
- Ability to work on deadline and handle multiple tasks at once with a precise and detail-oriented approach
- Great organization and communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as this position will include nights and weekends based on the NBA calendar
- Must be a team player who can work collaboratively
