Production Packers will work to ensure the plants objectives of:

  • Safety of all our employees,
  • Quality of the product, and
  • Maximizing operational efficiency, by utilizing a spirit of teamwork, skilled employees, training resources and communications.

Manufacturing, process and production experience is preferred. Job responsibilities include: inspecting film/bags, filling out paperwork, packing film/bags in cartons, visually inspecting film/bags for defects, verifying weights and counts, maintaining correct carton and skid counts and construction of boxes. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. and work a full 12 hour shift. You can pick the three days you want to work! Cleanliness and housekeeping are essential. The successful applicant must be flexible, able to communicate and work well with others. The ability to troubleshoot problems, take corrective action and do the job right the first time is essential. Attendance and punctuality are crucial aspects of this position. Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for ensuring production is in compliance with all applicable specifications and regulations.

  • Must be able to consistently lift boxes that weigh 35lbs.
  • Must be able to distinguish between slight variations in color and texture.
  • Must be able to maintain correct carton and skid count on production forms.
  • Must be able to properly and completely fill out labels and paperwork.
  • Must be able to visually inspect film/bags for defects.
  • Must be able to verify correct weight and counts.
  • Must be able to stand for up to twelve hours a day packing film/bags in cartons.
  • Must be able to construct cardboard boxes from collapsed cartons.
  • Must be able to move skids of finished product with a pallet jack.
  • Must be able to climb a ladder.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed.
  • Must know and follow all GMP procedures.
  • Must be able to work safely and follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Must be able to identify and report violations and unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Must be able to wear protective clothing, such as: hair nets, steel toe shoes, safety glasses and earplugs.
  • Must be able to efficiently respond in an emergency situation, such as fire, tornado and/or an accidents.
  • Must be able to follow all department procedures and directives.

All of the above are essential job functions.
