The Western Stock Show Association (WSSA) is in search of hard working, highly motivated individuals to join our team for the 2023 National Western Stock Show.

Who We Are

Founded in 1906, the Western Stock Show Association aims to invest in future generations by promoting youth and community development through livestock and equestrian education, innovation, entertainment, and competition. We are best known for putting on the annual National Western Stock Show, which has called Denver its home since the 1890s.

What We Do

Parking Attendants will work under the direction of our Team Leads and Management Team to complete a variety of tasks relating to the safety and satisfaction of event attendees.

During events, members of the Parking Team may be expected to greet customers, track availability of parking spaces and keep lots full, direct traffic, and answer any questions attendees may have. When not attending to customers, the Parking Crew will be expected to walk their lots to ensure they are kept tidy and all spaces are used efficiently.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a seasonal position for the month of January 2023. Some positions may begin in December 2022.

What You Need

No experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know.

To thrive in this position, candidates must be able to be on their feet for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. Candidates should be comfortable with working outside in all weather conditions and around animals.

Scheduling flexibility is a must – Parking Attendants may need to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends, up to 12 hours per day. Candidates must be available to work the majority of the 16 days of the Stock Show (January 7th – January 22nd).

All job offers on contingent on the successful completion of a criminal background check. Candidates must be 16 or older to apply.

Pay Rate & Benefits

• $17.30/hour
• Paid sick time offered for all positions.
• Shift differentials offered – earn more for working nights!
• Opportunities to transition to regular part-time positions will be available after the Stock Show.
