Job Title: Material Technician SCM

Responsibilities:
- Provide MM input in the upfront work scheduling and planning process
- Manage real time demand requirements resulting from rig sequence volatility
- Identify dormant, excess & obsolescence at project end, manage disposition process
- Execute physical inventory counts/ re-counts; Enter count results into system
- Coordinate with Vendor Warehouse Lead to investigate discrepancies
- Coordinate with Vendor to receive material movement/demand/fulfilment/returns management
- Analyze inventory levels and trends locally
- Investigate JV audits to conclusion
- Provide MM input in the work scheduling and planning process to ensure more aligned work prioritization and realistic materials availability expectation from the business
- Proactive demand management and demand challenge to the end users. Suggest alternative materials/ re-use
- Liaise with pre-PR release stakeholders e.g. Tech Authority, Design house etc. to ensure timely PR release
- Investigate variations between planned and actuals material deliveries in order to determine the corrective measures needed to improve accuracy
- Work closely with DVOs to feed insight and suggestions to drive improvement in master data
- Work closely with MM leadership to feed insight and suggestions into MM Program Management Team to support and drive CI
Qualifications:
Required:
- +10 years of supply chain experience/procurement operations/warehouse operations/Logistics
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering
- Led at least one strategic project for the previous employer
- Held supervisory positions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- SAP or equivalent ERP system experience
- This role requires highly collaborative, multi-tasking, commercial acumen, communication skills along with the ability to interface at high levels of management and tactical operational teams.
- This role will accumulate information across the functions reporting to this person and take the lead in crafting routine communication documents, executive reviews, etc.
- Ability to multitask and handle heavy work loads
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
- Continuous coverage and support in Houma
- Strong Analytical Capability, including managing KPIs on a regular basis
Desired:
- Offshore materials experience will be a plus
- Upstream Oil & Gas experience will be a plus
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) will be a plus
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory (CPIM) or equivalent will be a plus
