Job Specific
Help plan production sheets for dinner meals.
Pull and review recipes to make sure all ingredients are there to complete production of menu for that evening.
Check in orders that may be delivered, as needed.
Prepare menu items in a timely manner as scheduled.
Keep workstations in a clean and sanitary condition.
Make sure there is a cleaning solution of bleach and water at all times for clean up blood spills.
Supervise dishwasher in preparation needed for that day or further needs for kitchen.
Take room-service orders as needed, and sometimes call residents that you know may need room service due to illness or other reasons.
Room service order as scheduled.
Organizing the serving live for dish-up food at the dinner meal. See Diagram)
Expedited plating and service of the dinner when being served.
Prepare associates meals as needed. It is important that all associates sign the meal sheet before preparing meals.
Clean all workstations. Store leftovers and unused food products by covering and dating items properly.
Secure and lock walk-in coolers, ice cream freezer, and make sure all equipment is turned off.
Punch in on time for scheduled shift.
What are my job qualifications?
Education & Experience
Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
An equivalent combination of experience, education, and other qualifications may be considered.
Specific Requirements
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
Must successfully acquire the Skill Understanding the Importance of Safe Food Handling WRC-DS-I170 Basic Food Safety through the Learning Center within two weeks of hire.
Maintain food safety education and certification requirements per local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
General Qualifications
Professional in attitude, demeanor and dress.
Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
