The Seminole Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic is located at 31055 Josie Billie Highway Clewiston, FL 33440. This is not in the main city of Clewiston, rather 45 minute drive south. It is about a 45 minute drive east of Immokalee. Coming from Weston it would be about a 55 minute drive to the west on I-75. This is a full-time position that is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with an hour lunch.

Position Summary

The incumbent in this position is responsible for the administration of ambulatory nursing care services, including but not limited to screening patients, administering medications and/or immunizations, providing therapeutic treatments and counseling patients. Acts as a patient advocate and ensures health, comfort and safety of patients.

Qualifications / Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Graduation from accredited License Practical Nurse program is required. Current and valid State of Florida’s Nurse License is required. Prior experience in primary care clinics or mental health settings is preferred. Certification as Basic Life Support (BLS) and valid Florida Driver’s License are required. Demonstrate excellent organizational, multitasking and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
