Passion Vines Wine and Spirit Company is launching a new concept in Somers Point. This space will be provide a truly unique, exciting, and upscale experience that currently does not exist in the local area. We are seeking a Lead Mixologist to play a key role in the launch and overall success of this new venture! The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of and is obsessed with cocktails, wine, and providing an exceptional experience for every customer. In addition to being an incredible mixologist and bartender, this person must be a natural Leader and can successfully train and manage a Team. The perfect Lead Mixologist for this space is looking for a place to treat as their own and invest their time, energy, and passion into building something truly special.

Responsibilities

· Serve as the Lead Bartender; especially during the busiest days/hours. NIGHT AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST.

· Anticipate customers’ needs and ensure service always exceeds their expectations

· Take ownership of the bar space; maintain inventory and impeccable organization of all product and supplies

· Prepare drink components before service (infusions, juices, syrups, etc.)

· Develop and test new drinks; refine current ones

· Lead a Team; conduct pre-shift meetings, train new bartenders, and serve as the point of contact for all Team questions and concerns.

Requirements

· 5+ years of experience as a Lead Bartender/Mixologist

· Extensive knowledge of mixology and spirits, recipes and ingredients

· Strong wine knowledge; able to offer recommendations to customers, discuss tasting notes, knowledge of regions and varietals.

· Experience leading and training a Team

· Ability to suggest and implement strategies, procedures, supplies, etc. needed to create an efficient workspace

· Extremely motivated, energetic, and able to succeed in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment

· Up-to-date TIPS Certification

· Experience launching a new concept (Not required but preferred)
