My customer is a leader in vehicle route optimization software technology, is seeking a front-end software developer. This role will be responsible for designing, coding, and supporting multiple websites that must feature both user-friendly design and clear navigation, from layout to function.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Write well designed, testable, and efficient code by using best software development practices
Demonstrate the ability to identify and fix errors in code
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases and consult other web designers to match visual design intent
Qualifications & Requirements
Deep expertise and hands on experience creating Web Applications using one or more JavaScript frameworks, such as: React, jQuery/jQuery UI, Node.js, JavaScript, Angular
Deep functional knowledge or hands on experience with AJAX and APIs
Extensive experience with UI frameworks, such as: Material-UI, Bootstrap
Extensive experience with 3rd party libraries, such as: React Redux, Material-Table, React-Table, jQuery DataTable
Familiar with source control and repositories such as: Bitbucket, and GitHub
Familiar with Jira and DevOps methodology
Basic understanding of SQL, and database like Postgres
Understanding of web application security, session management, and code development best practices
Working knowledge of GIS and similar mapping services extremely useful
Basic understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) strategy
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field
4+ years minimum experience as a UX designer and/or web developer/front-end software developer preferred
Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
