3:5 Creative[s] is a digital-based platform and content house. The primary focus is co-creating alongside emerging artists with the goal to shape culture. Our digital platform is a unified hub where artists will have an opportunity to showcase their talent. The viewer will engage with thought-provoking content that will provide a dual communal art experience on and offline.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Graphic Design Intern candidates who are good at photo editing, video editing, and drawing.

Compensation: Please note that the internship is does NOT provide STIPEND, but the experience is priceless! students may seek credit for school. We also provide letters of recommendation and the opportunity to network. After evaluation, interns may be brought on a part-time paid internship based on their performance.

Time commitment: 20h/week for 90 working days.

Interns will start the second week of May 2023

Responsibilities and Duties

Areas you will learn about:

  • The social content design process and creating photo, video, animations, GIF content, web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials for channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr
  • Sourcing, download, and organizing photos from Getty Images, artist social accounts, etc.
  • Editing process for artist interviews, audio and video liners, and live footage.
  • Other internship duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience and strong interest in learning about design
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with After Effects/Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro a plus.
  • Must have an avid interest in the art and music scene, knowledge about artists, current on social media and design trends.
  • Strong time management skills a must, along with the ability to keep up with changing task prioritization in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and take creative direction from superiors and constructive criticism from other team members.
  • Excellent attention to detail and superior communication skills.

Requirements

  • Must be junior, senior, graduate student or recent graduate
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, art, animation, or a related field.
  • Must have laptop and have access to required systems and software associated with the position responsibilities.
  • Candidates must provide a link or PDF of portfolio with the application for review.
