The job will be to assist the store manager in daily operations of the store with a strong focus on sales + customer relations. STORE HOURS: Monday - Saturday 10-6; closed Sundays

Job Description:

• Develop + maintain relationships with customers + provide excellent customer service
• Maintain daily operations of the store
• Assist with daily staff direction: assess store needs including but not limited to merchandising, janitorial needs, stock levels and delegates tasks accordingly
• Strategize with store manager in merchandising, inventory levels, and store appearance
• Work closely with external company personnel (accounting, website, marketing, etc)
• Teach + mentor others, share technical knowledge, be a change agent
• Participate in planning + coordinating store events
• Participate in special projects as needed
• This position is a ladder to management

Must be:

• A leader who is strong in connecting with and developing others
• Creates and fosters a healthy and pleasant working environment
• Detail oriented + highly organized
• Excellent at multi-tasking + problem solving

Technical skills:

• 1-2 yrs experience in management or leadership required
• Experience with integrated Point of Sale inventory applications
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Gmail, + Windows 10
• College degree is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
