We are looking for individual in Little Rock to ensure classroom excellence and development of classroom staff as an Education & Engagement Coordinator.

Pediatrics Plus provides all of the necessary training to start your career as an Education & Engagement Coordinator, as well as opportunities to grow with us through professional development. Our training program will provide all the tools you need to be successful as you drive results in the classroom.
What you will do:
Our ideal candidate is someone who is excited to lead a team of teachers in meeting the educational needs of the children we serve.
- Assess preschool curriculum for relevancy and impact.
- Monitor implementation and modification of classroom curriculum.
- Aid in weekly communication to therapists concerning upcoming classroom curriculum and special events and activities in conjunction with the Administration team.
- Coach and develop Classroom Intervention Specialist(s) on implementation of appropriate teaching/engagement/interaction for the Classroom Team.
- Ensure quality assurance of classroom practices through active observation of classroom activities in each classroom. Observed activities include: Circle Time, Center Time, Arrivals, Departures, Transition Activities, Academic Activities, Recess Time, Nap.
- Complete an observation sheet for each classroom observation. Reports a summary of pertinent findings from observations during the weekly One-on-One with the Director.
- Create ongoing education and engagement plan for classroom staff.
- Supervise classroom meetings to ensure quality, purpose, and intention.
- Support Classroom Intervention Specialist in driving classroom staff performance and engagement.

- Ability to move freely, quickly, and frequently from a sitting (on the floor or in a chair) to standing position and to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely
- Working knowledge of computer technology: Windows operating systems, iOS, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email
Minimum Requirements:
- Availability Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Bachelor's degree in Early-Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education with a current Arkansas State Certification OR Bachelor's degree in a related field + documented experience working with children with special needs
- Special education experience preferred
- 5+ years of successful experience in a classroom setting working with developmentally at-risk children or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
