A bilingual geriatric medical director is needed in Houston to treat geriatric patients. The facility is hiring an additional physician to support the growing patient census. This position will be responsible for managing providers 1-on-1s, evaluating provider performance, being involved in the hiring/firing process/implementation, and monitoring the performance of improvement plans. Budget management and value based care/managed care experience is a huge plus. You will see 20 outpatients per day on average, all more than the age of 65 and the average age of 72. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm and phone call is shared among the group. Applicants must be board certified and have more than 2 years of experience managing physicians.
