Youth Development Specialist Job at Peoria County
To be responsible for the supervision, safety, care, and counseling of the residents at the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center in order to provide a secure, structured environment conducive to the physical safety and well-being of the residents.
Qualifications
The temporary educational requirements for qualified candidates would include those having an associate degree or earned a minimum of 60 credit hours at a university, college, or community college preferably with major course work in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, social work, or related social services. OR Bachelor’s degree (4 year) from an accredited university in the area of social work, education, psychology, or law enforcement (or related field). Incumbents name must appear on the
