Currently hiring for a Wellness Director to supervise the Assisted Living services in our community. The role of the Wellness Director is similar to that of a Director of Nursing in ACFs and SNFs, but with greater emphasis on administration due to our lower acuity residents.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Required: A minimum of a diploma or associate degree in nursing with four (4) years of clinical experience with the elderly is required. Clinical leadership experience including but not limited to Assistant Director of Nursing, Charge RN, Unit Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager.
  • Preferred: A Bachelor of Science in nursing with a minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience with an elderly population. Additional knowledge of Geriatric Nursing, Dementia Care, and the state ALSA/DPH Regulatory Process.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
A valid RN License, in good standing, from an accredited school of nursing and a valid Driver’s License is required. CPR and First Aid Certification.

Position Description: The Wellness Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day Assisted Living Services Agency's clinical needs of a complex nursing department and wellness programs. Hearth’s Live Move and Think Move philosophies require the integration of all resident services provided into a holistic system that maintains a continuing awareness of each resident’s total wellbeing. These philosophies are the cornerstone of Hearth Management that allow residents to thrive by placing an emphasis on their total wellbeing (social, family, financial, mental health, key life events, dietary needs, spiritual needs, health and medical needs including, but not limited to, medications and personal care needs).

*Ideal candidates are looking for a role that draws from and relies heavily on their clinical knowledge and experience to empower them to oversee the administrative responsibilities of the nursing department including supervising and directing nursing staff, oversight and monitoring of resident care delivery and clinical outcomes, customer service, community relations, and regulatory compliance. They are looking to stay connected to direct care and searching for the next step in their career. These candidates have experience leading a team and are looking to continue their professional growth by taking on leadership of their own.

Compensation: Salary starting at $100,000 per year. Bonuses based on experience and performance.
