GotPrint, a rapidly-expanding online printing company with multiple facilities across the United States, is searching for a HTML/Java Script developer to be responsible for maintaining our active e-commerce websites by performing routine updates. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of HTML, JQuery, CSS and is also familiar with design concepts on the application side.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains active, global e-commerce websites by performing routine updates
• Add new products and pages as necessary, working with designers and stakeholders
• Act as a technical consultant for any new website functionality prior to implementation
• Assist in the modification of company's external and internal websites based on user feedback
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors encountered across our web properties, internal applications, and systems as reported or experienced
• Researches industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.
• Code, test, debug, fix, and document the website.
• Provide post-launch verification of features and changes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience hand coding HTML/CSS and JavaScript
• Knowledge of W3 standards and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience building sites based on SEO, accessibility, and customer-focused best practices
• Able to translate PSDs or other static designs to HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and other relevant design software
• Analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of websites
• Knowledge of jQuery library
• Familiarity with User Acceptance testing and gathering feedback from groups
• Experience with version control (SVN)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work quickly, while maintaining a high level of quality
