Warehouse associate

THE JOB

In this role you’ll be solely responsible for all warehouse related tasks and will be handling following responsibilities:

  • Inventory management: you oversee all parts replenishment, further organize the existing inventory system, search for parts substitutes (researching US parts to replace European standards), perform regular inventory counts and update our ERP software and this for our two US locations: Denver and Turlock.
  • Outbound: you’ll be picking, packing and shipping service parts to our US customers. We’re looking for a handy (wo)man because for some orders that will mean you will build wood crates and boxes yourself
  • Inbound: you receive shippings and make sure they’re stored at the right place and are checked in in our system
  • Transport: you’re in direct contact with the transporters regarding shipment issues
  • Order management: process parts request from the service manager
  • Warehouse management: keep warehouse neat and tidy, conform regulations
  • You report to the global service manager

YOUR PROFILE

  • Work location: Aurora, Denver (Colorado)
  • Experience level: at least 5 years experience in a warehouse role with international shipping
  • Diploma: high school diploma or GED
  • Working hours: fulltime (40hours/week) in daytime, flexible working hours
  • Languages: excellent in English
  • PC knowledge: Office 365. Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus
  • Technical knowledge: having a valid forklift certificate is worth bonus points
  • Travel frequency: about 10 days per year (to our Turlock office)
  • Characteristics: you can work independently since you’ll be our only warehouse employee, you have a hands-on mindset and are self-steering. You like to work on multiple tasks which can shift in priority in an instance but never lose your cool. You have an affinity with technical environments (machines)

Salary: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
