VP of Compliance (Remote)

Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our growing company. This is a high-profile position within the organization, responsible for the following:
● Guide the Product Development Team on compliance issues for consumer financial services under development.
● Lead the development of a robust Compliance Auditing practice with other functional areas, including, partnerships, marketing, application processing, KYC/AML, credit, deposits, access tools, account servicing and default management.
● Ensure that the organization is current on legal and regulatory requirements as they evolve.
● Support the development of disclosures, communications, policies, and operating procedures.
● Participate in contract review and negotiations with potential suppliers and partners.
● Work with regulatory agencies to ensure we comply.
● Develop and manage a team of Compliance officers and analysts as we expand.
● Create and deliver a Monthly Executive Summary on the organization’s adherence to policies and practices with regards to Compliance. Document will include future/pending regulations and court cases that may impact our organization.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess
● 7+ years of Financial Services Compliance.
● Extensive knowledge of laws, regulations, and subjects applicable to consumer financial products (DDA, Debit Cards, Pre-paid Cards, Credit Cards and consumer loans – State and Federal Regulatory Requirements including, but not limited to; Reg. DD, TILA, FCRA, , ECOA, Reg. E, Reg. Z).
● Highly organized and detail-oriented
● Ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing
● High motivation and self-direction, taking personal ownership for results and professional development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
