Vision Graphics has an immediate need for a professional graphics installer based in Salt Lake County, Utah.

JOB DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS

Type: Full Time

Location: Salt Lake City office

Required Travel: Yes. Must be able to travel by car or airplane.

Education/Experience: High school diploma preferred Experience:

• Must be 21 years of age
• At least three years of professional graphics installation experience preferred
• Experience with vinyl wall graphics installations
• Experience with vehicle wrap installations
• Portfolio should include examples of work with odd angles, contours and shapes.

Reports to: Production Supervisor

NECESSARY SKILLS:

• Positive attitude and pleasant personality
• Attention to detail is critical
• Able to load, unload and carry 50 pounds or more
• Able to bend over or be positioned on knees
• Able to safely work on tall walls using a lift or ladder
• Able to prepare surfaces for hanging in order to achieve best results
• Able to identify problems and develop solutions to ensure the job is completed properly and on time
• Willing to be a part of a team and work together to complete scheduled tasks
• Consistent work attendance and performance, as required by the supervisor
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using the English language
• Able to legally travel anywhere in the USA by airplane or automobile
• 3M Certified Installers are preferred

OVERVIEW

This position requires a person who knows how to properly install vinyl graphics from start to finish. The person who we hire will know how to identify the proper steps necessary to achieve the best result possible. This person will work with the project manager prior to the job to assess any necessary preparation steps and then help develop a realistic timetable for installation.

This person will be able to install vinyl graphics wherever the locations may be, knowing that most of the work will be within Northern Utah. However, it is possible that jobs may occasionally be scheduled (with plenty of notice) anywhere a Vision Graphics’ customer may be. This person must be able to organize for installation jobs and be responsible for transporting all necessary equipment to the job site.

This position is full-time, but may require that the person who takes the job learn new skills outside of vinyl graphics, based on the need of the company and clients.

This person must have a professional demeanor and appearance. This person will be the face of the company to many clients who only come in contact with the installer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the estimation of vinyl graphics installation costs
• Plan jobs to successfully accomplish the client’s needs
• Assist in kit packing
• Prepare the surfaces for proper installation
• Install the graphics
• Communicate any potential problems with the company and/or client

Hours are generally Monday-Friday, 8-5, except for posted holidays. However, meeting installation deadlines is more important than knocking off at a pre-determined time.
