Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Organization and Talent Development Executive, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The VP of Organizational and Talent Development will own all aspects of talent, including acquisition, learning and development, succession planning, and performance management. This role will be a critical part of the senior Human Resources leader team, creating and supporting strategies, tools and processes in the disciplines of org and talent management as well as learning and development. This role will report to the Chief HR Officer and work in partnership with the HR team, using established talent principles to create consistent practices in talent assessments, talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, career path framework and support workforce planning.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborates with executives and key leaders throughout the organization to set the vision and strategy for organizational and talent development as well as L&D to maximize the success of aligning the right talent to meet organizational goals and achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Leads the creation and implementation of critical learning and development programs throughout the enterprise, including such things as skill-building, rotational programs, and onboarding.
  • Owns the performance management program and practices, and ensures that through these practices we’re achieving the right outcomes and driving appropriate behaviors.
  • Oversees the talent acquisition function and ensures our practices, processes and technologies are driving a best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Direct management of a small but mighty team of L&D professionals to create, embed and drive effective training and development programs across the company
  • Ensures a consistent performance management process that focuses on the employee’s efforts on the achievement of business goals. This includes building leader capabilities on how to provide feedback and coaching, how to write goals, and how to have meaningful performance reviews.


What We Are Looking For

  • BS/BA in organizational development, business administration or related field
  • A significant number of years in development, implementation and execution of Talent strategies in support of business objectives in a public company required
  • Several years working directly with the CHRO, CEO and Board on Talent strategies and programs is strongly preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience leading Talent organizations, including acquisition, learning management, succession planning and development
  • Progressive and scaled leadership roles, including 5+ years holding the top Talent role in a public company
