The Vice President, Operations Management & Facilities Services will be responsible for driving culture in alignment with Jacobs values, leading a dynamic business that includes nearly 2,500 people delivering $500+ million in annual revenue, driving a Beyond Zero safety culture on a continuous improvement journey, sustaining an exceptional environmental compliance record, developing and leading an overall strategic sales plan, developing a digital strategy, and growth leadership for the OMFS portfolio. We’ll ask you to leverage your expertise to engage with industry partners, lead business growth and client stewardship activities – to include the development of market strategies and growth initiatives and collaborate across the company to offer our clients OneJacobs solutions.

Using your experience in our markets, you will lead the Jacobs brand in the marketplace, be responsible for the profit and loss (P&L) for the OMFS portfolio of projects. These projects are focused on O&M of water & wastewater treatment facilities, facilities & municipal services, as well as transportation O&M. The organization includes a large craft and professional workforce.

This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, People & Places Solutions and can be based remotely aligned to any of Jacob’s offices in the US (Ideally close to a major US airport)

Here's what you will be doing:

• Work collaboratively across the company to coordinate and drive strategies and sales, especially with common clients
• Lead by example and continue to deliver your organizational sales goals
• Project and program delivery and execution, recruitment and hiring of talent, talent retention, promotion of Inclusion and Diversity, and exemplifying and leading the Jacobs Culture of Caring
• Engaging with a variety of clients across municipal, private, federal sectors as well as elected officials is critical to the success of this role. Presenting and representing the company as an executive leader to any of these audiences (including municipal councils)

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Experience as a successful leader with an operational excellence, strategic and growth mindset with a focus on sustainability, operations, and quality
• Experience in the fields of water, wastewater, water treatment, distribution operations, infrastructure/facilities management, and/or transportation O&M
• Experience working with a broad range of project types and sizes with diverse private and public sector clients
• Results driven background personally engaging on key pursuits including development of strategy, pricing and managing a team
• Strong business acumen coupled with effective communication skills with a strong emphasis on accountability and collaboration
• Passion for leadership coupled with innate ability to influence positive change
• Strategic thinker who drives innovative solutions
• Experience managing a diverse team with varying complexity of projects and clients
• Demonstrated leadership focusing on the whole organization while building trusting relationships within and outside the organization

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Bachelors or Advanced degree, or equivalent experience
• Progressive experience in project delivery and market-level oversight
• Portfolio management experience with multiple delivery models
• Demonstrated credibility and gravitas to influence key stakeholders including VP/SVP operations leadership
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence market and BU level organizations
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands
• Commitment to advancing inclusion & diversity
• Track record of consistently achieving key performance metrics (safety, compliance, growth, financial, etc.) Your capacity to work well across boundaries

Typical salary range for this position is $215,332 to $370,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. For “remote” positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.
