Key Responsibilities:
- Loading rooms, obtaining patient history
- Performing blood draws
- Administering medications
- Keeping cages clean and sanitized
- Walking, feeding, and picking up after animals
- Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.)
- Communicating with client via phone and in-person
- Taking radiographs
- Filling prescribed medication
- Restraining animals
- Basic understanding of commonly prescribed medications in hospital
Requirements;
- Proven experience as a veterinary assistant
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Team-oriented
- Ability to multi-task
