After practicing in traditional animal hospitals for 22 years, Dr. Vicki Petsche made her dreams come true by opening Loyal Companions in 2016. Dr. Petsche’s mission is to provide comprehensive veterinary health care that is delivered with both excellence and compassion. Loyal Companions has an opportunity for a new graduate or experienced veterinarian to join Dr. Vicki

Petsche and Dr. Aly Oriold. For new graduates, Dr. Petsche is able to offer mentorships with her 28 years of experience. We offer flexible schedules to help maintain the all-important work-life balance.

Our support team is unmatched! We have a very friendly and compassionate team of 7 certified veterinary technicians and 5 veterinary assistants. Our highly skilled team ensures that the medical records are completed in an organized, professional, and timely fashion in order for the doctors to concentrate on patient care. With their support to promote both compliance and success for your treatment plans, you will be able to go home on time and leave work at work!

Compensation:

• Compensation is a base salary plus quarterly bonuses based on percent of production beyond the base salary

• Base salary ranges from $80,000 - $120,000

• Quarterly bonuses will be calculated by 18% - 21% of production (percent determined by experience)

Candidate Qualifications:

• DVM or equivalent degree; Class of 2023 graduates welcome to apply

• Excellent people skills willing to establish solid working relationships with pet parents

• Commitment to Fear Free principles

• Commitment to continuing education to maintain current & thorough diagnostic and treatment plans

• Prefer an interest or experience in dog and cat behavior / training

• Prefer an interest or experience in dentistry
