What’s the position?
Our Trading Director will report to the SVP Sportsbook and will manage a team responsible for all aspects of sportsbook risk and trading operations including:

• price management
• bet limits
• customer profiling
• vigilance of trading patterns
• bet acceptance
• managing exposure
• margination
• market positioning
• market availability
• channel gating
• live trading
• VIP team support
• recruitment and development of team
• development roadmap for product and tech improvement
• command of the drivers of margin
• user acceptance testing of new features, product and deployments

The role will be deeply operational, you will develop hands-on knowledge of our trading tools, system architecture and event life-cycle. There will be extensive collaboration with third party suppliers, as well as our internal technology, product and operations teams, and our property partners. You will frequently be the lead point of contact. You will develop your team of risk team to understand, embrace, adhere to - and ultimately improve - our trading strategy.

What are we looking for?

You will have leadership experience in the risk or trading operations functions of an online sportsbook. You will be an accomplished leader, comfortable in data and detail, fluent in back-office tools, and an inspirational mentor to your team. You will have strong communication and presentation skills as you will regularly be briefing the executive team on trading performance. You will be strategic, decisive, and logical in your thinking. You will be a subject matter expert on sports and sportsbook. You will have understanding of the regulatory terrain in the US. You will build processes to ensure optimal performance of your team and function, and continuously improve upon these. You will be eligible for gaming licensing in all states where we are active.
