The Title Coordinator at Steffes Group, Inc. will be based out of our West Fargo, ND site. The focus of this role will be to oversee the collection and distribution of clean titles from sellers to buyers, while maintaining consistent communication regarding any missing or illegitimate titles as needed to execute a successful auction sale. This role will report directly to the Lead Title Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate closely with Sales Representative to obtain title information of auction assets – including physical copies of the titles, additional supporting documents for titles (including 2290 copies), letters testamentary, damage disclosures, and copies of trust paperwork
  • Work within state resources to confirm that obtained title is the most recent title issued, and communicating if updated title work is needed
  • Confirm titles are in the name of the seller or that seller has obtained authority to sign off on title
  • Use title information to verify accurate description is being used for listing of titled auction items
  • Occasionally travel to live on-site auctions to assist with the transferring of titles, obtaining seller signatures when needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong interpersonal & professional communication skills, including excellent command of grammar, spelling, and technical composition
  • High degree of confidentiality & trustworthiness
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, with strong organizational skills, allowing priority & workflow management
  • Outstanding customer service skills – both in-person & through the phone
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently & with multiple departments closely
  • Willingness to assist in additional tasks as needed

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong working computer knowledge and ability to navigate several platforms simultaneously
  • Ability to multitask as needed, while prioritizing which tasks need to be done first
