Technical Product Trainer (Manufacturing) Job at START, Inc.

SUMMARY
The Technical Trainer is responsible for the creation, development, and delivery of training content and material in support of product sales. Training content consists of product features, functions, and benefits, description of application, installation, and maintenance, system design, and competitive benchmarking.

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

  • Oversee the development of all product training material, to include presentations, video, and hands-on demonstrations
  • Coordinate with the Sales Team, the delivery of product training courses, and programs at the training facilities and at remote training locations.
  • Coordinate the delivery of product training for new employees
  • Establishes on-going, refresher, product training programs for Warehouse and Customer Service Departments
  • Create training content for new product and programs as part of the product development cycle
  • Any additional duties assigned by management

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and/or experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering OR 15 years Mechanical/Plumbing Contracting Experience
  • Minimum 7 years of technical related experience in the residential/light commercial plumbing and/or Hydronic heating markets
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of training development experience
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams), GoTo Meeting, WebEx (or similar webinar-based software platforms)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
