• Test and evaluation for security, design, localization, and performance using systems such as static design and conformance tools
• Assists in the design and coding of software product components, units, and modules according to detailed specifications
• Participates in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhancing existing software
• Participates in the analysis and development of test plans
• Analyzes test results and recommends corrections to more experienced software engineers

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area of study
• CompTIA Security+ certification will be required within 6 months of hire date if not already held.
• Other certifications may be required in the future.

• 0-2 years of technical experience
• Experience in high technology areas such as application development, web applications, database development and design, web services, or console applications.

• Proficient in C#, Java, JQuery, MVC,ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, CSS ,MS Visual Studio
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively (autonomy is key)
• Ability to work as necessary to meet customer needs
• Effective communication skills with an appreciation for the appropriate ways to interact with managers, coworkers, and customers
• Effective cross-organization collaboration abilities
• Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload
• Participates in special projects as assigned
• Telework may be available depending on the specific assignment and must be approved by the Program Manager/Contract.
• This position will require the ability to obtain a U.S. Government clearance; the ability to obtain this Government clearance will require U.S. citizenship.
