We are looking for an experienced server. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experience. Server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting specials and ronin messaging, explaining menus, taking orders and serving food-beverages. Experience with sushi, daily specials and featured beverages-sake a HUGE plus.

You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and are passionate about sushi, we’d like to meet you.

Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and create returning customers. We are not a check off a sheet sushi place. Ronin sources fresh, hard to find ingredients and seafood so we stand out as tone of the top sushi concepts of Denver!

Hours

Tuesday-Sunday 3:30pm-10ish (we close at 9:45pm-last call, so after post service side work is done)

Our operating hours are 5pm-10pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Navigate customers through our menus and select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment

Skills

• Proven restaurant serving experience in a upscale sushi restaurant, min 2 years.
• Proven sushi knowledge with types of sushi types, fish, and rolls/dishes.
• Hands-on experience with Pos systems
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• High school diploma is a plus but not required
