Position will be responsible forproviding protective, investigative, counseling and case management services for children who are at risk for neglect and/or abuse. Position provides social work services including treatment and immediate response to safety issues with children. Work involves investigation of alleged neglect, abuse, and dependency; substantiation of the alleged neglect or abuse as prescribed by federal and state guidelines, providing expert testimony in court hearings, and following-up with case management and preventive services for clients. Social Worker may provide group, family or individual treatment to clients of any age and regarding any developmental, mental, medical, substance abuse, financial or family problem. Emphasis of this position will be on the complexity of casework, treatment, and investigation. Responsible for on-call with child protective services social workers. Position reports directly to the CPS Team I Supervisor. Other related duties as required.

Pay: $49,644.00 - $52,126.00 per year
