Forsyth Country Club is looking for Servers for our dining facilities. We value employees with high levels of customer service and a friendly demeanor. This part-time position must be able to work flexible hours.

We are a premier private country club in Winston-Salem, NC featuring a Donald Ross golf course and other excellent facilities to provide outstanding social and recreational experiences for members, their families and guests. As a member of the food and beverage staff, this position provides a warm and welcoming service to members and their guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Takes members food and beverage orders and place orders in the POS.
• Knows all menu items including specials, buffets, and prices.
• Checks back to ensure member satisfaction; replenish beverages as necessary.
• Attends line up meetings before each shift.
• Removes soiled dishes; carries loaded trays to the dish room.
• Reports to work in assigned neat, clean uniform.
• Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
• Provides a seamless experience for all guests with expertise and a great attitude in a la carte dining.
• Knows members names and warmly greets them with a smile and direct eye contact

Qualifications

• Experience working in food and beverage, preferably upscale or fine dining establishments
• Basic reading, writing, and computer skills.
• Must have a positive, upbeat, friendly attitude and enjoy providing exceptional customer service.
• Must be a team player who can develop strong and positive working relationships with all coworkers.
• Availability on holidays and weekends is expected of all team members

Experience

• Previous server experience highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills a must.
• Must be professional.

Physical Requirements

• Position involves kneeling, stooping, bending, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 35 lbs.
