Position Summary:
Your role will be to guide the development team in the successful implementation of new product features and the enhancement and maintenance of existing features.
You will be working with the Development Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst and the Scrum Team to build and refine the product and team backlogs.
More specifically, your role will involve:
- Planning program increments that deliver new features and value to our customers.
- Guiding the team in the creation of a solution approach and architectural plan for each new feature set.
- Ensuring architectural and technical alignment with the group technology strategy and business drivers.
- Owning release implementation plans and the technical delivery of product releases.
- Owning and leading the design and implementation of new features.
- Writing code - implementing complete user story and defect solutions as a "full stack" developer and active member of the scrum team.
- Providing consultancy to team members on the solution for user stories and defects.
- Creating guidance and tools to aid the migration of features to the current technology stack.
- Facilitating the provision of t-shirt sizes for features planned in future releases.
- Sharing designs with other development teams.
- Participating in meetings as a technical consultant for business stakeholders.
- Driving a culture of continual improvement based on regular feedback loops and carefully selected metrics that evolve along with the team.

Minimum Education and Field of Study:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, engineering, mathematics, or related technical discipline.
Minimum Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer.
- 3+ years of experience building and operating desktop applications and/or cloud solutions.
