Senior Logistician- Product Lifecycle Support

Dayton T. Brown is a Leader in ENGINEERING & TEST | LOGISTICS | TECH PUBLICATIONS | MILITARY MISSIONS SYSTEMS. We have an opportunity for a full-time, Senior Logistician to join our amazing talented team in our Technical Services Division.

This position is within Dayton T Brown's Technical Services Division reporting to the Product Support Program Manager. The Senior Logistician will support proposals, Product Support Analysis (PSA) and customer guidance/training. Our team addresses a variety of tasks across multiple programs for foreign and domestic customers.

The Senior Logistician develops Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) and Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) analysis using a wide application of engineering and software. They should be able to support and guide DTB's customers in achieving their Product Support Analysis goals using best practices while executing on multiple programs, providing the best value for the customer. Additionally, there will be opportunities to assist in the development of Product Support proposals. The candidate should be comfortable with a remote work environment, have good time management skills and be able to prioritize work tasks. It is important to have good communication skills with both internal and external customers. There may be times when overtime is needed as well as a small amount of travel (<10%). This position does not have any direct reports and is an individual contributor.

The candidate will be expected to support the following Product Support Analysis:

• Product Supportability Analysis Plan (PSAP)
• Logistics Product Data (LPD) Database Development/Management
• Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analysis Data
• Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA)
• Provisioning Technical Documentation (experience with PPL, ISIL, RIL, LLTI)
• Engineering Data For Provisioning (EDFP)
• Support Equipment Requirement Documents (SERDs)
• Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)/Maintenance Planning

Additional helpful skillsets:

• Obsolescence Management
• Experience with Technical Manuals prepared using S1000D or MIL-STD-40051
• Experience with other S-Series Specifications (S2000M/S3000L/S4000P, etc.)
• Time Management
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering or STEM Technical Field and 5 years of Product Support Preferred
• Must have at least 5-7 years of direct experience supporting MTA/PTD/EDFP development
• Experience in product development and sustainment of aerospace or defense systems
• Must have familiarity with MIL-HDBK-502, MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007 and or SAE TA-HB-0017
• Over 5 years' experience with Product Support database software such as SLICwave, EAGLE, or Power LOG-J
• Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office applications
• US Citizenship
