Job Title: Seasonal Support

OVERVIEW
Seasonal Support is responsible for providing assistance to the sales and management team in ensuring an outstanding client experience and supporting the store team on the salesfloor or operations and back of house functions. Creating an outstanding client experience is a critical aspect of this job. It is accomplished by creating a positive, inviting and fun environment for the discerning client. This includes an enthusiastic attitude, attractive and inviting displays, as well as clean and well-lit stores with the best selection of watches for the local market. It is crucial that Sales Support focuses on enhancing the client experience and providing assistance in every stage of the selling experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work to create a positive, inviting and fun environment for the discerning client.
- Be enthusiastic and demonstrate a passion for watches.
- Create a relationship with the client:
§ Greet the client when he or she enters the store. If you recognize the client, welcome the individual back to the store.
§ Listen to the needs of the client and direct them accordingly
§ Understand available inventory within store and if needed, at other Tourneau stores.
§ Create excitement with the client about the product.
§ Ultimately gain the client’s trust.
- Partner and communicate with Sales Professionals as needed to make a sale.
- Partner with management in handling client issues in order to create a positive experience for the client.
- Act as a host to the location, supporting in execution of hospitality initiatives; including but not limited to offering and preparing of a beverage and chocolate, offering a seat, etc.
- Assist across all store departments other departments as assigned.
- Clearly understand the store’s daily sales objective and how it relates to weekly and monthly targets.
- Assist in client follow up, including but not limited to birthday cards, holiday cards, informing clients of new merchandise and inviting customers to special events.
- Attend necessary trainings during the seasonal period.
- Readily accept and incorporate constructive advice given by managers on how to improve performance.
- Challenge yourself to become comfortable speaking about the brands and product.
Other
- Strictly adhere to all store security procedures.
- Respect other sales professionals and store teams.
- Dress professionally.
- Work with Manager to ensure the store is at all times clean and attractive.
- Attendance is a crucial part of performance. Be on time.
- Help set-up or close store depending upon shift.
Requirements:
- A passion for providing an excellent customer experience.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule throughout the week.
- Must have a polished and professional appearance with a positive attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of retail, hospitality or customer service experience.
- Prior watch and fine jewelry experience is helpful but not required.
- Expert communication skills.
- Willing to be hands-on and work with the team to fulfill operational and organizational needs.
- Bi-lingual language proficiency is a plus to cater to our international customer base.
