Health Link is a Home Health Agency in San Francisco Bay Area and has an IMMEDIATE job opening in our San Francisco office. We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy, team player to join our team. This is a Full-Time, in-office position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exemplary performance in their ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and learn quickly.

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will perform clerical/scheduling activities that facilitate Agency operations. These activities include coordination of clinician schedules with the patients wants and needs, processing intake information, and communication with referral sources.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain schedule for services requested and provided to agency patients
  • Assist with intake
  • Assure that cases are filled within established time frames
  • Provide appropriate notification of schedule to employee, patient, supervisor, and others as appropriate
  • Respond to emergency calls and arranges schedule accordingly
  • Provide direction to direct care employees and communicate with supervisors as needed to assure safe and effective coverage of patient needs.
  • Report any scheduling changes and/or client concerns to supervisor; notify client of changes.
  • Verify time records with schedules
  • Follow up with employee on scheduling problems encountered by the on-call staff
  • Perform job in compliance with Agency policies and procedures
  • Attend meetings and educational programs as required
  • Accept responsibility for personal and professional development
  • Perform other duties assigned

Why You'll Be Successful:

  • Current scheduling/intake experience, preferably in home health
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Demonstrates time management, organizational skills, and ability to function with minimal direction
