Must be able to train and work on both shifts and on the weekends.

Here is a list of some of the more frequent tasks you can expect to perform during a typical workday:

• Sweeps, mops, and scrubs the production area including walls, ceilings and floors.
• Cleans and sanitizes packaging machines.
• Cleans and sanitizes processing equipment.
• Empties plant trash and garbage containers.
• Must wear the proper personal protective equipment for performing each duty.
• Must follow and be committed to proper GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Follow all safety guidelines as described in the safety code of conduct while working in an environment that requires climbing and working in confined spaces.
• Attend and participate in all safety meetings and be committed to working safety.
• Safely work with various cleaning chemicals while following MSDS guidelines.
• Must perform packer duties as requested.

Other Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One to Three months related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, respiratory protection, gloves, boots, aprons and/or safety glasses/goggles/shields may be required.
• Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder, shoulder-to-overhead and pushing/pulling/carrying.
• Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend/twist neck and back; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.
• Ability to tolerate humid, wet working environment with temperatures up to 100 degrees F.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Use of sanitation/cleaning chemicals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.16 per hour

Shifts: 1st Shift: 6:50 AM to 3:20 PM

2nd Shift: 3:10 to 11:10 PM

With a 30-minute lunch break
