Job Description

At NTX Embedded we look to the sales team to drive our global reach in commercial and industrial embedded HMI and control solutions. Our ideal candidate will feel passionate about the vision of our business, take initiative to look for client opportunities, actively seek out areas of need and articulate it well to our internal and external stakeholders, and take ownership of sales strategies to keep our revenue engine growing.

You’ll work with our internal team to fully understand our offerings and work with clients to sense opportunities where our services can provide value. You will work with clients to understand their technical needs and business goals, communicate those needs to the engineering and product teams, give demos, and craft the technical components of proposals and contracts, so familiarity with embedded HMI market and technology is a plus. As you will work with clients daily, we’re looking for someone who can build relationships, articulately advise and motivate, negotiate deals, and look for opportunities to grow our business.

Responsibilities

  • Familiarize and regularly review our embedded solutions offerings (including industrial grade hardware, software, UX/UI design, and vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities), our competitors, channels, and our customer touch points to drive higher margin deals and find new entry points
  • Drive sales and encourage repeat business by identifying key decision-makers, prioritizing strategic opportunities, establishing annual/monthly objectives, plans, programs, budgets for key customers and channels, and maintaining long-term professional relationships with key clients/partners in a B2B environment
  • Understand business challenges and critical customer pain-points to form execution plans, pursue key prospects, and negotiate/articulate terms of sales to businesses in collaboration with the CEO
  • Strategize sales activities & campaigns to achieve established sales and market share targets.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration continuing education or training
  • 5+ years in Outside Sales and Territory Management
  • Experienced in selling HMI, TFT display, Touch panel and/or Embedded system solutions to OEMs
  • Strong experience in key account management
  • Proven track record of success in the sales cycle from plan to close
  • MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) proficiency
  • Proficiency with CRM/digital smart management tools such as QuickBooks, Asana, Salesforce, etc.
