We are looking for a focused and organized Sales Executive with strong critical thinking skills to grow our business relationships in North Texas. You will help physicians and medical practice executives maximize the value of our malpractice insurance portfolio and reach out to prospect practices who are not currently insured by SVMIC. Based out of your home office, you will regularly connect with your Arkansas, Memphis, Oklahoma, and Nashville-based colleagues as part of your close-knit sales team.

Requirements:
  • Associates Degree and equivalent combination of education and experience required, Bachelor’s Degree (B.A., B.S.) or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of medical or medical practice insurance sales & customer service/account management experience — Oklahoma-based territory sales preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, customer relationship management software, and familiarity with a variety of other software programs
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while recognizing when and how to effectively collaborate with others
  • Excellent public speaking and negotiation skills
  • Life-long learner with good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to obtain a Texas Property Causality License within 90 days of hire
  • Regional travel (within North Texas area) three times/week: Quarterly travel to corporate headquarters in Nashville, TN for 2 days per visit
  • Periodic attendance at conferences and trade shows as required
