Job Requirements:
Education:
A minimum of an accredited school of nursing and/or college degree
Experience:
1. A minimum of two years in a long term care facility, one year of which has been in a nursing supervisor capacity preferred
2. The ability to coordinate and communicate in a multidisciplinary setting
3. Demonstrated competency to teach adult learners as documented by:
a. Two years of experience teaching nursing or nursing related programs to adults in an academic setting
b. Completion of a professionally recognized course in teaching adult learners or a New York State Education Department Teachers Certification/Train the trainer preferred
License:
A current New York State Registered Nurse License
Skills:
Teaching strategies, technical, organizational, management, office, interpersonal, problem solving, nursing, critical thinking, active listening and learning, monitoring and assessing, public speaking, system analysis and evaluation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
