Job Summary:

Disney Bell Services Dispatch Cast Members create magic for our Guests by anticipating their arrival to The Walt Disney World Resort. As a Bell Service Dispatch Cast Member you will, assist Guests with loading and unloading of their bags and assign tasks to the Bellperson. The Bell Service Dispatch will store and tag Guest luggage or groceries. As the Bell Service Dispatch Cast Member you will partner with the Concierge and Bellperson Cast Members to provide a streamline Guest Check-in process.

The starting pay rate for this role $15.00 per hour (non-tipped)

Responsibilities:

• Engage with Guests by recognizing and greeting arriving guest, addressing needs, answering questions, giving directions, and other information
• Develop relationships with Guest and Cast Members from all lines of business to provide excellent service to our Guests and Cast
• Answer incoming calls and provide information about The Walt Disney World resort and luggage process
• Maintain Guest confidentially
• Lift luggage up to 50 pounds or more
• Operate passenger vans, cars and pargos to transport Guests and luggage across The Walt Disney World Resort
• Assign tasks to Bellperson Cast Members
• Manage luggage equipment and luggage room
• Log, tag and store luggage in luggage room and issue guests receipts
• Assist Guests with transportation arrangements
• Use a Smart Phone device
• Navigate between multiple and concurrent computer applications
• Maintain the flow of traffic within the Porte Couchere and luggage areas
• Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required.
• Cast Members may be asked to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
• Valid Driver's License
• Maintain safety of our Guests while operating vehicles, including with passengers
• Knowledge of routes & roadways to destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort®, including Theme Parks, Water Parks, Resorts, and Disney Springs
• Prolonged standing during peak operational hours to include indoor and outdoor settings
• Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
• Verbal and interpersonal communications skills
• Operate and communicate using a radio
• Part Time roles require full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holiday
• Full Time roles require Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of Disney Guest Facing role or related experience
• Bilingual
