SOUTHEAST BEHAVIORAL HEALTH (A UHS OWNED FACILITY)

Southeast Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Southeast Missouri. Our 102-bed facility offers a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral health services for teens, adults and seniors experiencing mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, and co-occurring substance use issues. Our brand-new and modern facility is initially offering inpatient behavioral health services for adults and will continue to open units and add further services in a phased approach through 2022.

REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT - 14 WEEKS

Night Shift only available: 6:30pm - 7:00am

Duration of Temp Assignment: Must work three (3) 12-hour shifts per week for a period of 14-weeks

NOTE: Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible.

Salary rate: $65.00/per hour

The RN is a registered professional nurse who coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of Handle with Care training and Service Excellence Training. Certifications and training may be obtained during new hire orientation.
