Position Summary
Home Lending seeks to increase penetration by our Home Lending Advisors on HomeBuilder purchase business. This position owns the business development aspects of builder and developer relationships for Home Lending. The Regional Builder Manager is responsible for program participation and results regionally. The position reports to and is accountable to the National Condo HomeBuilder Manager for results.
Business Description
Responsibilities include regional Condo HomeBuilder Program build out, financial analysis, partner relations (internal and external), and service level execution within relationships. Finally, the Regional Builder Manager will need to source new relationships and grow purchase business within existing and newly established relationships. Influential management with Sales to education and inspire program utilization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point-of-contact and subject matter expert for the Director, Senior Lending Managers, Lending Managers and Home Lending Advisors.
- The position is primarily responsible for ongoing Business Development activities focused on creating new construction relationships with builders and developers and deepening existing relationships.
- Collaborate with executive level leadership to assign a Home Lending Advisor to the relationship. Monitor & assess the performance & effectiveness of sales person dedicated to servicing each relationship.
- Partner and collaborate with)Lending Manager (LM)/Senior Lending Manager(SLM) within region to ensure program strategy and appropriate tactics are executed.
- Accountable for evaluating and sharing the performance results of the Condo HomeBuilder Program within their supported region and with the National Condo HomeBuilder Manager. Additionally, engage the Senior Lending Managers, Lending Managers and Home Lending Advisors in activities necessary to ensure builder and condo success.
- Serve as chief liaison to the region's internal sales team regarding the Program's changes, updates, policy & procedures and is act as a single-point-of-contact to National Condo HomeBuilder Manager regarding ongoing program status, milestones, success, etc. of assigned region.
- Collaborate with and provide subject matter expertise to Division Director and Senior Lending Managers.
- The position will assist with identifying program participants (internal identification) and coordinate training and workshops ensuring Lending Managers and Home Lending Advisors receive required knowledge development and skills training.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Ability to build & manage successful relationships within & outside of the organization
- Purchase loan origination subject matter expertise
- Strong presentation and excellent follow up skills
- Strong Intermediate MS Excel Skills and Power Point
- Business development experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Successful candidates would typically have 7-10 years of lending experience
- 5 plus years of management experience strongly preferred
- Ability to influence individual contributors Home Lending Advisors & Managers
- Strong loan origination & purchase mortgage knowledge
- Strong New Construction Condo/HomeBuilder knowledge
